Wind Energy Museum

Eolo s.r.l. has put into operation a wind farm for the production of electricity of 8,5 MW from renewable sources. In collaboration with the Campania Region, the town of Albanella and with the association Il Disegno, Eolo s.r.l. offers schools that organize trips to Paestum a guided tour of the wind farm and the adjacent wind power museum.

The Museum illustrates the technology and the operating principles of wind turbines that are the core production of a wind farm, starting from Greek mythology and the importance in time in the wind resource for human life.

HOW TO ARRIVE

Train: station of Capaccio, Milan- Reggio Calabria.

Auto: highway exit A1, Battipaglia then continue on the state road 18 for Paestum exit Albanella (the museum visit can be combined successfully with the archeological area of Paestum, allowing an overview on the whole territory.
